The Next Generation of Tourniquet Application
ATLAS TQ
Designed for rapid, consistent blood flow occlusion – when seconds matter most.
WHERE PROBLEM MEETS SOLUTION
The ATLAS Tourniquet

Abolishing Human Error
With its intuitive design, the ATLAS TQ requires just two steps: wrap it around the limb and pull the slack. Its internal tension control system automatically applies pressure — no user feedback is needed to confirm success.

Reducing Application Time
The ATLAS TQ reaches maximum occlusion pressure, no matter lib size, in under 5 seconds. With this speed, no user has to worry about the time sacrifice to apply a tourniquet and returning to duty.

Increasing Efficacy
By eliminating the need for a windlass mechanism, the ATLAS TQ increases efficacy through motorized tightening. The device applies consistent pressure without relying on user strength or technique, reducing the risk of under-tightening in high-stress situations.

AWARD WINNING INNOVATION

-
Who are the primary users of the ATLAS TQ?The ATLAS TQ is designed for everyone. While it’s built to meet the needs of military and paramilitary personnel, we also envision it becoming standard in public safety settings—placed alongside AED stations in schools, offices, and public venues. It’s also ideal for off-road adventurers, backpackers, and adrenaline seekers who may find themselves far from immediate medical help.
-
Can the ATLAS TQ be used on any limb?Yes. The ATLAS TQ is designed to work on both upper and lower limbs, including arms and legs of various sizes. Its adjustable strap and calibrated motor ensure proper occlusion regardless of the application site.
-
Can the motor apply too much pressure? No. The motor is calibrated to stop at a predetermined tension that’s sufficient to fully occlude blood flow in any limb, whether it’s an arm or a leg. While the motor is capable of applying more force, it’s programmed not to exceed the necessary pressure. In fact, there’s no clinical risk of the tourniquet being “too tight” — achieving full occlusion requires significant force, and going beyond that does not pose additional danger.
-
Will the battery drain over time? No. Thanks to our patent-pending contact switch design, the circuit remains open until the device is actively engaged. This means the battery doesn’t expend any power while idle, ensuring long-lasting reliability in storage or the field.
-
What is the advantage of the ATLAS TQ over a traditional windlass tourniquet? The ATLAS TQ automates the most critical step — tightening. Unlike traditional windlass designs that rely on manual force, the ATLAS TQ uses a calibrated motor to achieve consistent, life-saving pressure within seconds after applying on the user. This reduces user error, speeds up application time, and makes it easier for anyone to use — especially under stress.
